We have no doubt that the Paris Motor show - set to begin next month - will be a very eventful place. The press will be thronging to catch glimpses and information on the newest cars that have been talked about for months and concepts that have yet to be revealed. One of the concepts that we are most looking forward to seeing is the Mercedes-Benz ConceptFascination.
The concept deserves this very unique and flamboyant name and we have no doubt that you will feel the same way when you have caught a glimpse of the video that shows it off. This video is great for those of you who can’t make it to the show.
Lorinser has a surprise in store for us a the 2008 Geneva Auto Show. It seems that Mercedes’ top tuner will be showing off the new Nardo3 concept. They will also be showing off other designs – but this will be the main highlight for their booth.
Those who are familiar with racing from all around the world will notice that the Nardo3 is named after the high speed test track in Italy. With that being said you can be sure that the car has a lot to live up to – which is why it sports ta V12 twin turbo engine that can reach 660 horsepower. It will also have new integrated exhaust outlets, new front end, and a new rear bumper. We aren’t surprised to hear that there will only be 50 of these being made making them rare and quite a catch to any who can afford them.
Mercedes has given the 2009 SLK a makeover to remember. The new model – which has been given better mechanical features, a nicer interior, and brand new styling for the front and rear end of the vehicle – will be debuted at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show.
The 3.5-liter V6 in the SLK350 gets a boost in output to 305 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy is improved with both the six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic gearboxes. The supercharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine in the SLK200 Kompressor receives a bump to 184 hp and 184 lb-ft. But the 5.5-liter V8 in the SLK55 AMG is carried over with no major changes.
