The Mercedes-Benz R63 AMG is making its world debut at the Chicago Auto Show. Powered by the first-ever engine developed entirely by AMG, the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz, the R63 AMG adds high performance to the six-passenger, all-wheel-drive capability of the highly acclaimed R-Class luxury vehicle.

The Mercedes CLS has usually been called one of the most beautifully crafted Mercedes-Benzes that they have made. It has the look of a coupe, yet it has four doors. And in terms of interior comfort, the CLS makes for a great four-passenger sedan.

The Mercedes CLS is roughly the same size as the E-Class sedan, with which it shares a number of major components. Yet the CLS-Class has fewer variants than the E-Class and it occupies a higher range on the price scale, with more standard luxury equipment. What distinguishes the CLS most readily from other Mercedes sedans is its four-seat cabin and gorgeous exterior styling. It comes in two varieties: powerful and crazy powerful.

The CLS63 AMG may have been out of sight for some time, but it is never out of mind when you get from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. This breathtaking performance created by the vehicle is propelled by the most powerful, naturally aspirated V-8 engine in its class at the present time.

Its awe-inspiring data reads as follows: 507 hp and 465 lb -ft of torque. The 7G -TRONIC transmission with AMG SPEEDSHIFT programming makes for 35% faster gear changes and the three shift modes via aluminium shift paddles on the AMG sport steering wheel ensure that this formidable power is delivered instantaneously. The AMG sport suspension, based on the AIRMATIC DC system, and the AMG high-performance braking system with composite brake discs have been tuned accordingly.
