In November, Mercedes-Benz USA achieved its third-highest sales month in its 42 years of U.S. sales. The automaker sold 22,079 for the month, which was a 20.8 percent increase over the same period last year.
Mercedes-Benz sales were driven by an increase in the S-Class sales, which were nearly double last year’s sales. Mercedes-Benz’s light trucks ML-Class, R-Class, GL-Class and G-Class bucked the industry trends and continued to demonstrate impressive gains with a combined 57 percent increase over last November (6,778 vs. 4,317).
Because of this extraordinary feat, this became the 10th consecutive month of record-breaking sales and the company’s best November on record.
