Mercedes new AMG model line has the power that we look for in a car and has the design of a luxury car that we have come to expect from them. It isn’t too often that we are disappointed with what they have come up with and this is no different.
You can’t blame them if they brag a little and decide to spread the word through a clever awareness campaign that will show consumers the top performance models that can be found all across the U.S. The campaign is using great advertising, the establishment of AMG Performance Centers, and a road show demonstration. It will begin with only seven dealers from Florida, New York, and California – but if everything goes according to plan they will have incorporated its top 30 dealers by the end of the year.
We thought that hybrid vehicles we going to be the next best thing for cars and something that will help us to save on gasoline – but it looks as if some people have other ideas that may work better. Solazyme – a biotech firm in California is testing the use of algae fuel to power vehicles of the future. They will be testing their theory on a Mercedes C320 diesel by driving it around the Sundance Film Festival.
The new 2009 CLK has been kept under a watchful eye. Sure we’ve seen a few photos surface on the internet – but these newest pics – which were taken by the guys at CarAndDriver are much clearer and give us a better idea of what to expect from the new model.
